Art Events focused on the elements of art, art technique and styles with a specially trained, qualified, and pre-screened art teacher.

February 12
Show your Love for someone by making these peacocks of love, inspired by John Nolan.  We have a pop art explosion of color.  Make one with the one you love for a fun date night or learn to have fun with color on your own or with friends.

March 12
Enjoy this really intense, harder than average dot landscape inspired by Australian artist Elspeth McLean. Use colorful dots to make this landscape and fill your heart with joy from the spring to come.

April 9
Van Gogh Sunflowers (previously discussed) using the Impasto technique.

May 14
Sunset.  Similar to the northern lights, but with a scene of a serene sunset.  This also has some complicated color mixing, layering complexities.  Learn the complexities of color and make a masterpiece!

June - It’s a Romero Britto inspired painting using a word that signifies pride, acceptance, and yes, LOVE!

Middletown Recreation supports our community in many ways.
We are asking if you could bring one non-perishable food item to donate with Middletown Recreation to the Amazing Grace Food Pantry.
