rowing
Fall sweep rowing is open to advanced beginner through experienced (15 - 99). You must have completed the novice rowing program or a comparable class. This program offers the ability for all levels to improve and build on their present rowing skills and fitness.

Fall offers the opportunity for more experienced rowers (ages 21+) to race in up to 3 regattas** if interested. Competitive rowers must expect to come to a minimum of 2/3 practices per week. The head coach can help determine if you are at a level to race.

As it gets darker earlier in the fall, we will come off the water at dusk and then do a variety of fitness, stretching and yoga, all key to aspects to being a strong rower. Please bring a yoga mat and sneakers to every practice and a reusable water bottle.

CCR rows in Fours and Eights.
CCR adheres to covid-safe practices. If you are not vaccinated you will need to wear a mask.

* All on-water rowers must have or had a swim test waiver filled out this year to participate.
**Experienced rowers interested in racing will incur additional fees for regattas.

PLEASE NOTE: occasional Sat. races may require rescheduling of practices because of conflict!
