Youth Tennis

Racquet is provided for class time, however, it’s suggested you purchase
one for further practice on your own. Sneakers only please. Bring water.
Groups will be divided by age if necessary.

Instructor Message: 

I am a certified tennis instructor with a love for the game and the desire to teach
others. I’ve been playing tennis since I was 7, hitting tennis balls against a
factory brick wall, until I felt confident enough to play on a court with people! I
watch tennis, I read about tennis, and I play every chance I get. I took my love
for the game and earned my Instructor’s Certification through the USTA. I am
also certified in CPR/First Aid and USTA Safe Play. Check out our programs
and come join us. We offer lessons for every level and age.

Beginner
This program will break down the fundamental skills of tennis through games and exercise. Students will learn proper grips, footwork, and strokes. Athletes can progress to our Intermediate Class at completion. Subject to change by the discretion of the coach.

Intermediate
Must have completed our Beginner Class. This program is a continuation of our Beginners Class. Students must have completed that class, know strokes, grips, and footwork. Students will further improve strokes, footwork, and game play. Volleys and serves will be introduced. Games and exercise will be incorporated for fun and to improve coordination and technique. Subject to change by the discretion of the coach.

Advanced
Must have completed one of our tennis classes or demonstrate advanced skills This program will introduce the advanced student to rules, tennis etiquette, scoring, and match play, both singles and doubles. Heavy attention to tennis fitness, and the serve. We’ll have fun becoming stronger, well-rounded tennis players with games and drills. Racquet will be provided, however, at this level you should have found one on your own suited for you. Subject to change by the discretion of the coach.
