Welcome to the Middletown Youth Track and Field Program 2025
 
Three clinics will take place on Wednesdays 7/23, 7/30, and 8/6 from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Beman Middle School track. Participants can register for just one clinic or up to all three as they see fit. 
 
This program will consist of coaching in a wide variety of track & field events, including sprints, distance, jumps, and throws. Participants will have the opportunity to have coaching in each track and field discipline, and can choose to focus on specific events to receive more in-depth coaching on. It will be led by Coach James ‘JT’ White and Coach Jacob O’Reilly, both varsity track and field coaches at Middletown High School who continue to compete in track and field. 
 
Participants are encouraged to wear athletic clothes and shoes. If athletes have their own track spikes, throwing shoes, or other track and field equipment they are encouraged to bring it. Throwing equipment will be provided for use during the training sessions 
 
The recommended age group for these events is 7-17, with some flexibility. If adults are interested, please reach out separately. 
 
Along with these training sessions, Middletown Recreation will be sponsoring track and field meets on Fridays 7/25 and 8/8, which will be publicly available and open to all ages!
