September - Art of the Scene: 

In this intro-level workshop, we will learn how to create a compelling scene between two or more characters. The lesson applies to both screenwriting and prose. This is a beginner-friendly class, and no prior experience is necessary.

Students need their own laptop and writing software. FREE options of screenwriting software are (beat), Slugline 2, Scriptation, and Highland Pro. RECOMMENDED options are Scrivener or Final Draft. Microsoft Word is an option for prose.

Any AI use is not allowed. Please also bring ideas and an open mind.

October - Writing the Mystery:
 
In this intro-level workshop, we will learn how to create a compelling mystery, complete with clues, suspects, and of course, an ace detective. This is a beginner-friendly class, and no prior experience is necessary.

Students will need to bring either a laptop or paper and writing utensil. Please also bring ideas and an open mind.
