INCLEMENT WEATHER  PROGRAMMING POLICY


We will post on FB, our middletownct.myrec.com website and local news stations with opening times.

When schools have a delayed opening...
Rec Center will likely have a delayed opening with time determined based on storm.

When schools have an early dismissal...
Rec Center will likely have an early closure with time determined based on storm.

When schools are closed...
Rec Center will determine if/when it is safe to open and we will announce the times if we will open.

Weekend programming…
Rec Center will determine if/when it is safe to open and we will announce the times if we will open.
 
In case of inclement weather cancellations, Recreation doesn’t make up the missed classes. However, if a class with an instructor is available to teach a makeup class and space is available, we will make every effort on instructor based classes.
